I like to think of myself as an expert on the Dupont area because I owned The Collector Art Gallery Restaurant for 5 years in The Dupont Hotel. It’s a very popular hotel and has an excellent restaurant. The rooms are small but well designed and since my time there have added some larger rooms.

The Carlyle Suites Hotel is a great little art deco hotel three blocks away from Dupont Circle with reasonable rates. The location of this hotel is great because Dupont Circle has great shops and restaurants. It’s a wonderful hangout spot for all ages.

A fantastic hotel in a very good location of Washington, DC. The private dining room is called ’Art and Soul’ and is the perfect place to host a private event. There is also an extraordinary ballroom for events that can hold up to 500 people.
My favorite part of this hotel is how the lobby ties into the lounge, restaurant and bar. It is well designed and quite impressive.
